Animal rescue groups rely on donations to fund their work saving the lives of pets in need in local communities. Many shelters do not have adequate supplies to care for the shelter pets in their care. Many people have been impacted by the economy and can not give financially (but they give in other ways … networking, volunteering, advocating, transporting, etc.). But if you can give, and have not yet had a chance, this is just a reminder that it’s not too late to make a tax-deductible donation. Rescues and shelters appreciate a donation in any amount – and there is probably a need in your community. Many can accept online donations, many shelters accept donated items at their facility.
