Norah the stray dog; she lived in a drainage ditch for several years before caring rescuers, who heard her story, discovered she’d had puppies and saved them all.

I need help rescuing a mother dog and 6 puppies!
The mother had been living on scraps from a Shell staton/fast food complex for weeks.
I have been feeding her for a month across the street from the Shell (huge open meadow) but can only get within a foot or so.
I’ve contacted numerous agencies, but no assistance!
I would keep the mother and adopt out the puppies.
Check with Duck Team 6; they are a street rescue team here in the Dallas area that is skilled in rescuing stray dogs and puppies. The main thing they need is a foster/adopter and it sounds like you can help with that. They may also be able to help you spay/neuter and vet the pups before adopting them out (to reduce problems like you are trying to solve of unwanted pets on the streets). Here is their website: http://www.duckteam6.org and Fb page: http://www.facebook.com/DuckTeam6/info
I would love to do a story on this on Pawsitively Texas, so please keep me posted!
And thanks for helping this dear family!
