Every single post I publish, I hope and pray for a miracle. We see so many sad stories in animal rescue … too much heartbreak. But, we also get a chance to be a part of miracles. This is one of them!
Earlier today, a lost dog was posted on Pawsitively Texas, I try to publish each of the Lost/Found pet stories as soon as I see them. Today, I posted a young Basset Hound that had wandered off in Keller. Within an hour, Cindi posted that she thought she recognized her. Here is how the story played out on the Pawsitively Texas Facebook page.

Pawsitively Texas I don’t know Adele, this is all that was posted: “LOST BASSETT HOUND – KELLER/FT WORTH TX – Please help us find our 2 yr old female Bassett Hound. She is white with a brown & black mask and large black spots on her back and rear end. She escaped out a door that was mistakenly left open. Please call 214-288-9460 or 214-415-4322 for any sightings.”

Cindi Crumbo I think she may be at the animal hospital I work for! 🙂 Don’t worry, she’s fine. A fellow tech found her loose last night. Hopefully she’s your girl! I’m going to call you now and give you the info!

So … because a kind-hearted vet tech that took this lost dog into his care and networkers passionately post about each pet in need as if he/she were their own, another miracle happened today. And I am eternally thankful to all that make Pawsitively Texas the amazing animal rescue community that it is! It can’t be said enough, “Y’all Rock!
