Stephanie Mosby is asking for help …
“This mama Chocolate Lab wandered into a yard right off Hwy. 64 east of Canton this past week, and right up to the people sitting outside. She was skinny, flea-ridden & was very PREGNANT, but super sweet and friendly. Her teeth look like she could be about 4 – 5 years old, but all her canines have been either broken off or filed down. These people fed her and let her stay in their garage while calling around for help. They did NOT want to take her to a shelter, and thus she had 9 puppies in their RV shed 2 days ago.
They cannot keep them and desperately need a rescue to take them
in! This coming weekend is First Monday Trade Days in Canton and we don’t want them falling into the “wrong hands”!!!!! Mama has had a bath and they’ve cleaned up the area where she is nursing the pups. I’ve taken them clean bedding and Frontline spray. This lady has offered to help with transport within reason if someone can take her. Mama is a fabulous dog! Her coat quality is poor and her backbone and ribs are still prominent, but with proper care & quality nutrition, she looks like she could be a really nice dog! The grandson said before giving birth she followed them everywhere while they farmed and loved swimming in the pond.”
Aww bless her heart, I would galdly take her and her puppies until they are ready to go to their new homes. I live in Aransas Pass, TX and can help with transportation by meeting half way. I have 5 acres and a fully functional animal sanctuary here around 30 miles from corpus christi. Feel free to get in touch I would be really happy to help the sweet mommy out.
I will gladly donate the items I have, plus an extra dog house to you if you do take in this family. Dawn

I’ll help with food,bedding, some shots,I have 2 stray dog spay neuter vouchers left we can use for them, I have remaining worm meds from the mom and pups I rescues, 2 remaining 8 in one round of shots, eye meds, antibiotics, a bunch of left over vet supplies I can help with, some toys, a dog house, a few collars, leashes….email me and what is mine, can be this dogs and her pups if you wish. Tears started falling when I saw this sweet girl & when I read the wonderful things that are going to happen for her I cried harder!! If the rest of the world was so giving we could close all the shelters, there would be no need for them.. Blessing to all of you!!
