  1. My boys name is Tino. He was rescued around the time the actor, Nick Santino, committed suicide over euthanizing his dog. The rescue named him, and I have kept it.

  2. Tansy – Tansy is a small common herb with yellow flowers. Like her namesake, my Husky/mix Tansy was a small, overlooked puppy I found at the shelter.

Quigley – My little terrier mix was a matted mess of fur when I saw him at the shelter but, with a little care, he bloomed into a squiggly bundle of love.

  3. My dad loved the cartoon character Droopy so I named him after him I also had a dog named Butches because they called my dad Butch growing up as a nickname. Butches passed away two years ago.

  4. My son had a female poodle named Critter when he was a little boy. He got the name from Ellie Mae on The Beverly Hillbillies.

  5. My dogs’ names are –
Ivor – short for Survivor – a rescued female Jack Russell mix
Archer – shoots out (runs) straight and fast – a rescued male Jack Russell mix
Beckett -regal looking – a rescued male lab/boxer mix

  6. she is a boxer and shakes her butt like a bowl of Jello, hince the name, we almost called our second dog pudding but she looks like an Abby, and after meeting Jello you see that the name fits her. lol and she is not mean, how could she be mean with that name lol

  7. My dogs names are Micah…17 yrs old and still going! Jerry Lee, my jack russel, and finally my girl, Nyssa, named after a vampire in the movie Blade!

  8. we had a pair or blonde cockers named blondie and dagwood. dagwood, the male, has passed away, but blondie is still living. cute for a pair of dogs.

  9. Not the rescue’s pups … 😉
but my personal furkids. All were rescues, adopted or given to me:
Already at RB: Tasha – miniature poodle (rescued from an Amish puppy mill)
Dini or Houdini… foster failure (after 4 previous adoptions)

Current with names not on list: Mushi (German term of endearment) – Maltese mix who my MIL handed to me one day 10 years ago
    Heidi – rescue Cocker

All the rest on RB and at home are listed 🙂 Good to know I have a list to go to if I’m tearing my hair out not to repeat names, lol <3
