Summer Spay/Neuter and Shots Special – Collin County

Collin County Shelter volunteer, DeDe Whitcombe, reports there is a fantastic, low-cost personally owned (not rescues or fosters) dog and cat special scheduled for Tuesday, June 14th. It includes low cost spay/neuter and vaccinations. You can have up to four pets sterilized through this program and they also have low-cost vaccinations too. Must call 940-566-5551 to schedule an appointment for spay/neuter. This special is sponsored by Texas Coalition for Animal Protection. (Not in the Collin County area, no problem! Services and prices:

Dog Sterilization (Spay) – Female:

  • Under 50 lbs – $50
  • 50-80 lbs – $55
  • Over lbs – $80

Dog Sterilization (Neuter) – Male *Add $10 for E-collar

  • Under 50 lbs – $40
  • 50-80 lbs – $50
  • Over lbs – $70

Cat Sterilization (Spay) – Female: $40

Cat Sterilization (Neuter) – Male: $30

Vaccination Prices – Dogs (offered 10am – 12pm only):

  • Rabies – $5
  • DHLLP $10
  • Bordetella – $10
  • Heartworm Test – $20
  • Frontline – $10
  • Heartworm Preventative – $20-30

Vaccination Prices – Cats (offered 10am – 12pm only):

  • Rabies – $5
  • FeLV – $10
  • FVRCP – $10
  • FeLV/FIV Test – $20
  • General Dewormer – $5
  • Droncit- $10

Requirements/Additional Info:

  • All Pets must have written proof  of current rabies vaccine or receive the vaccine at the time of surgery for $5
  • There is an additional $10 charge for in-season females and an additional $20 fee for pregnant females
  • There is an additional $20 charge for male dogs or cats that have only one testicle descended.
  • All pet must have an appointment for surgery – call 940-565-5551

  2. I need to have my dog vaccinated and I am without a job. Can you tell me when and where I can receive a reduced cost for these?
