spay neuter pets to build a no kill community

A TIMELESS MESSAGE for every single community! Do you believe we have a responsibility to care for animals? To leave the world a better place than we found it? I do. Changing the world starts with a first step – and is often much easier than we think. Little things matter. Like making sure we don’t add to the homeless pet population by having a surprise litter from an unaltered pet. If you know someone with an unaltered pet, please encourage them to make time spay or neuter. You can find a list of low cost spay/neuter Texas programs by clicking here.

Achieving no kill is twofold …. reducing the homeless pet population with prevention AND applying proven solutions that find loving homes for the shelter pets. We see so much bad in rescue, we can get jaded. But the pet industry is a bustling $53 billion annual industry which screams PEOPLE CARE ABOUT PETS. And we see it here too on Pawsitively Texas; people care. Spay and neuter is one of the easiest ways to contribute to building a no kill America! After that, there are so many simple ways to help. Foster. Volunteer. Share pets in need. Give. Advocate. Yes there are some bad and irresponsible pet owners – but they are not the majority and good aways trumps evil. We can do this!
